My internet has been down for the past few days, hence no posts, sorry. It's back as of this morning, hooray! there are so many blogs I have to catch up on which is pretty much all I have been doing this morning as I'm on a study break for a week :-D
I am in love with this building and its red railings and hand painted postage stamps. Until recently this was my local post office, but it has now moved next door and the building is for sale :-( I thought I had better take a photo in case they knock it down or do something terrible to it.
Sorry, it's not a very exciting post or a particularly good photo (it was taken with my phone) but I thought I would share because its such a sweet little building.
Oh that building is very sweet, lets hope it doesn't get knocked down!
ReplyDeleteMy internet is currently on dial up speeds until the start of October, I'm trying to read all my fav blogs but I'm struggling! This is the one time I can say, thank-you so much for posting one photo :) he he
I know right! and bummer, it's such a pain having slow internet!
DeleteIf my internet was down for a long period of time I would die! Haha yes that is a nice building :)

I know we are so reliant on the internet now, its so bad haha.
Deletethe building is indeed sweet <3
ReplyDeletei hope my post office was more than a giant faceless building!
there are so many gorgeous post offices that are now being put up for sale...there is a gorgeous one at Richmond (NSW) that I daydream about living in. It is a two-storey building built in 1844, it has these gorgeous arched windows and the top level has a balcony all the way around. At the back was this old coach house and stables...buildings aren't made with that kind of beauty any more. So I hope this one doesn't disappear, it would be a real big shame.
ReplyDeleteThat post office sounds divine!! hopefully it's so old they won't knock it down! And it's so true, they really don't put that much ornamentation and thought into buildings any more :-(
