Tassie Oppy Finds

Of course, whilst in Tasmania we managed to fit in a little bit of op shopping ;-)

I found this sweet little tasmania souvenir hankie which I have taped to my wall at the moment, along with a cutout from the packaging of a bag of apples we bought.

I also found some more patches to add to my collection! There was a whole pile of them but they were $2.25 each so I had to restrict myself :-( It was so hard to choose but I loved the sparkly ones (you can't really tell in the photo but 3 of them have gold and silver sparkly thread).

I also found a sweet little swan planter. I now have three swan planters which makes it a collection and gives me an excuse to keep buying them :-P

    1. I know, I acutally passed it up the first time because it was $5, which is more than I would usually pay, but I ended up dashing in to get it when we passed by again :-P

  3. I am the same as you, I don't mind spending a bit of money at the op shop but some charge ridiculous prices. They should have given you the whole lot of patches for one price :( but I must say you did walk away with some beautiful things. I can never tire of it...you never know what you will walk out with

    1. yeah I find the prices at op shops seems to always be rising, especially for vintage stuff :-( but you're right, I still find it so fun and addictive haha.

  4. I love that three is a collection! he he he - definitely my logic too :) Awesome finds. I don't think I had any luck at the op shops in Tassie (despite having super high expectations). We did buy a cassette tape for our cassette only campervan, which was super handy for all those roads!
